This is hand painted on an 11 x 14 gallery wrapped canvas, with sides that are 1 1/2" thick. This little guy has had a lot of fun! "Shake up some holiday cheer" into your decorating with this lighted canvas. The "sugared rim" of the glass is actually large pieces of clear glitter glass. A sparkle glaze has been added to all the snowflakes and the word cheer. The lights are LED battery operated so that you can hang it or have it sit on an easel on an end table. It isn't restricted to where an outlet is on the wall. Requires 3 AA batteries, which are not included. A sturdy screw works best for hanging.
